In the EMG examination, the nerve and muscle characteristics of the patient are evaluated. In fact, the examination consists of two parts. While the integrity of the nerves is evaluated in the first part, the muscles and structures such as the neuromuscular junction can be evaluated in the second part. In the second part, the patient may feel a little pain due to the use of needles.

ENMG examination is a laboratory test that is frequently requested in neurology outpatient clinics or other departments.

    • Polyneuropathy (Nerve damage)
    • Neuromuscular junction diseases such as Myasthenia Gravis
